Terms for the auction:
Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer’s Premium of 10% will be added to each successful bid. No Virginia sales tax will be charged on these busses and vehicles.
Payment: Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or Wire Transfer are approved methods of payment. NO PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. A credit card is required to register for online bidding. A $100 “hold” will be placed on your card and that hold will typically be released within 72 hours after registering depending on your card holder’s regulations. All items must be paid for by the end of the business day on Wednesday, March 30th AND before any items are removed from the auction site unless prior arrangements have been made.
Pickup: All items must be picked up by appointment within 10 days from the conclusion of the auction unless other arrangements have been made with the auction company. Any item not picked up by the end of the scheduled pick up time will become property of the auction company unless arrangements have been previously made. A representative from the auction company will contact winning bidders after the auction to schedule a pick up time.
Merchandise: All Items are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. Titles are guaranteed for all busses and trucks.
Condition details are offered as courtesy to bidders, and are opinions only, not statements of fact, and do not imply any warranty concerning condition, or any assumption of liability. Lot announcements, listings, photographs, and catalog information are for descriptive purposes only.
Bidding: All bidding will be done online only. All bidders must register and place bids online. The highest bidder for each item shall be the buyer, and if any dispute arises as to any bidding the auctioneer will have sole discretion to determine the successful bidder, or the disputed lot shall be offered again at the last undisputed bid and resold. The auction record kept online will be the official record. Buyers are responsible for their items after being pronounced the winning bidder but will not become the owner of the items until payment has been made in full.
Liability: View and bid at your own risk. Allied Auctioneers is not responsible for injury or damage of any kind, to anything or anyone, while previewing, bidding, loading out, or conducting business. By placing a bid, you agree to hold Allied Auctioneers & Associates LLC and its agents harmless regardless of opinion.
Auctioneers Announcement: The auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids on behalf of an absentee bidder, the seller, or himself. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and in all cases of dispute the auctioneer’s decision shall be final.
Technical Issues: Neither the company providing the software nor the auction company shall be held responsible for a missed bid or the failure of the software to function properly for any reason. In the unfortunate event of a DDOS attack or server attack/shut down, the auction company reserves the right, but is not required, to extend bidding time or reschedule the closing of the auction. To minimize the chance of being affected by internet or software issues, please use the “Max Bid” feature.
