Huffman Litter Service is liquidating their inventory as they have decided to close the business. After many years of service in the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding areas, Mr. Deavers has decided to retire and everything is to be sold. This will be an online only auction ending on October 26th at 7:00PM. You can preview the items anytime between 8-4:30 on Friday, October 21st, Monday - Wednesday (Oct. 24-26) from 8-4:30, or by appointment in the evenings or on Saturday. This auction is in partnership with the Auction House of Broadway.

After many years of service in the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding areas, Mr. Deavers has decided to retire and everything is to be sold. This will be an online only auction ending on October 26th at 7:00PM. You can preview the items anytime between 8-4:30 on Friday, October 21st, Monday - Wednesday (Oct. 24-26) from 8-4:30, or by appointment in the evenings or on Saturday.

General Info: The auction will close on Wednesday, Oct. 26th at 7:00PM with all items extending if any item receives a bid in the last 60 seconds. Preview the items on Friday, Oct. 21st from 8-4:30, Monday - Wednesday (Oct. 24th - 26th) from 8-4:30, or by appointment for an evening or weekend preview. Winning bidders will be notified by email after the auction COMPLETELY ends by email with an unpaid invoice. Winning bidders must pay for their items on Friday, Oct. 28th between 2:00 - 6:30PM and can pick up their items on Friday, Oct. 28th from 2-6:30PM and on Saturday or Monday from 8-5. All items need to be removed by 5PM on October 31st. For questions please call Josh at 540-421-5007

 

Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer’s Premium of 10% will be added to each successful bid, five percent (5%) will be added for credit card processing. Virginia sales tax will be not charged at this auction since it's a business liquidation.

Payment: Cash, Check, Credit Card, Business Check, Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or Wire Transfer are approved methods of payment. If you choose to pay your invoice online our platform will charge the card on file. If you’d like to save the 5% fee for credit cards, you can pay when you pick up your items. If you pay for a titled vehicle with a check, we will hold the title until your check clears our bank. A credit card is required to register for online bidding. A $100 “hold” will be placed on your card and that hold will typically be released within 72 hours after registering depending on your card holder’s regulations. All items must be paid for before any items are removed from the auction site unless prior arrangements have been made.

Pickup: All items must be picked up and removed from the auction site on the scheduled removal days unless other arrangements have been made with the auction company. PLEASE BRING HELP, BOXES, AND TOOLS NECESSARY TO PICK UP AND REMOVE YOUR ITEMS IN A SAFE MANOR. Any item not picked up by the end of the scheduled pick up time will become property of the auction company unless arrangements have been previously made. Winning bidders can pick up their items on Friday, Oct. 28th from 2-6:30PM and on Saturday or Monday from 8-5.  All items need to be removed by 5PM on October 31st.

Merchandise: All Items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. Titles are guaranteed for all titled vehicles unless the description states “no title”. If paying by check (if applicable), titles may be held until check clears.

Bidding: All bidding will be done online only. All bidders must register and place bids online. The highest bidder for each item shall be the buyer, and if any dispute arises as to any bidding the auctioneer will have sole discretion to determine the successful bidder, or the disputed lot shall be offered again at the last undisputed bid and resold. The auction record kept online will be the official record. Buyers are responsible for their items after being pronounced the winning bidder but will not become the owner of the items until payment has been made in full.

Auctioneers Announcement: The auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids on behalf of an absentee bidder, the seller, or himself. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and in all cases of dispute the auctioneer’s decision shall be final.

Technical Issues: Neither the company providing the software nor the auction company shall be held responsible for a missed bid or the failure of the software to function properly for any reason. In the unfortunate event of a DDOS attack or server attack/shut down, the auction company reserves the right, but is not required, to extend bidding time or reschedule the closing of the auction.
